Paul celebrates 60 years on this Good Earth this year, 28 of them married to a constantly working multitasker whose always looking for more work before the last is done, frequently asking for help and repairs especially on electrical stuff, and always hungry. Paul is the firm foundation on which the farm business is built. He is steadfast, well-grounded, mostly patient, and allows the partner to be herself— not always without well-deserved complaint, of course. Paul is a good cook, handy with the grill, and keeps the fire burning on cold winter nights. He keeps the house and home going when the partner spends 3 days in the hog barn or 5 months in the hayfield. Of Finnish and French background, he loves the land, the woods, and celebrates the return of even the smallest bird in the spring. Congratulations Paul! |
